We have a slightly dated style crush on none other than Fearne Cotton. She’s been the apple of our fashion eye for some time now but our love for her look lingers on with no sign of fading. And since the launch of her line for very.co.uk we’ve become increasingly obsessed.
We love her slightly geeky, slightly tomboy but still girly style that she seems to carry off so well. Buttoned up shirts with skinny jeans and brogues or her very own Converse designs. Tunics teamed with ankle socks and dip dyed locks, how can we resist?
Fearne has a number of dresses listed on the Very.co.uk and we couldn’t find any we didn’t like. These dresses range from straightforward long sleeved tunics to ultra girly full-length velvet numbers to silky one shouldered party dresses. You don’t have to look hard to find something to suit everyone, and we particularly like another little velvet number, this one described as a skater dress, perfectly named for her tomboy image.
The good thing about Fearne is that she’s not afraid to be girly, there is a hint of lace and a hint of a heart in lots of her designs and it cannot be denied that she loves polka dots and bows, as they seem to be staple prints and accessories in her line.
The Very dresses can be classed as either day or evening wear as some of the simpler pieces can be easily dressed up with some killer heels and over the top costume jewellery, the quirkier the better if you want to live like Fearne herself.
That’s what we like about very.co.uk, bringing us the style of someone who doesn’t go with the mainstream. Fearne is very much her own person with her own look, but now we can do our very best to steal bits of it here and there and make it our own!
